Bankruptcy

Bankruptcy is a procedure designed to deal with the affairs of an insolvent individual for the benefit of his or her creditors. This is undertaken by a licensed Insolvency Practitioner who is referred to as a Trustee.

We act as Trustees of Bankruptcy estates to recover assets for the benefit of creditors. Whilst the Official Receiver is automatically appointed as Trustee over the bankruptcy estate we are often approached by creditors who require investigation into the actions of the insolvent individual.
