Compulsory Winding-Up

Like its cousin, the CVL, the company is placed into liquidation but usually by a creditor who has petitioned the Court.  We act as Liquidators to recover assets for the benefit of creditors. Whilst the Official Receiver is automatically appointed as Liquidator over the bankruptcy estate we are often approached by creditors who require investigation into the actions of the directors of insolvent companies.
